I grew up in rural East Texas and attended Texas A&M University where I graduated with a B.S. in Bio-Medical Science. I chose to study at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth to obtain my doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine. My choice to study osteopathy came from the early influence of our family physician. He too was an Osteopath, a fact that I did not know until later. He was a compassionate physician, a community leader and a true friend to his patients. I had an interest in learning more than traditional medicine. Osteopathy, with it's principal philosophy of the body's ability to heal itself, provided that opportunity. After finishing my doctorate, I did post-graduate training in Family Practice at Corpus Christi. I have been practicing in San Antonio since 2000. I am married and a proud father of 2 beautiful girls. My wife is a native of San Antonio, and we both enjoy the culture and climate of the area. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, exercise, and exploring all South Texas has to offer.
My focus of interest is in prevention of disease and health maintenance. I believe in a healthy lifestyle as a foundation to well being and try to instill these principals at every patient encounter.

Medical school of Osteopathy. Osteopathy is a complete system of medical care. The philosophy is to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. It emphasizes the interrelationships of structure and function, and the appreciation of the body's ability to heal itself.
